North Vancouver rode a strong second period and a monumental effort from netminder Marcus Taylor to a 5–4 victory over the Port Moody Panthers at Harry Jerome Arena on October 18, 2025. The home team struck first when Ryan Tse opened the scoring on the power play at 10:22 of the first, putting the fans on their feet. Port Moody answered before the intermission when Bradley Thompson evened the game at 15:52, setting up a tense middle frame.
The second period was where the Pack separated themselves. Tse gave the Pack an early 2–1 lead with a 1:52 marker set up by Mack Souter and Gus Tucker, but Port Moody’s Cole Blanchet tied it at 5:23. North Vancouver responded when Braydon Suderman converted at 7:49 (assisted by Lucas Davidson), only for the Panthers to pull level again on Marcus Lindholm’s power-play goal at 13:02. The Pack then re-took control: Davidson scored at 15:06 (with Suderman assisting) and Suderman finished the period with a power-play marker at 17:15 (assisted by Davidson and Ciaran Henry) to send North Vancouver to the third up 5–3.
Port Moody would not go quietly. Ryan Sam cut the lead to 5–4 with a power-play goal at 13:50 of the third and the Panthers poured pressure on the Pack for the final stretch. North Vancouver took several penalties late in the period — including a slashing call at 12:58 and a 10-minute game misconduct at 16:30 — but Marcus Taylor was equal to the task, finishing with 47 saves on 51 Port Moody shots as the Pack killed the threats and closed out the win. North Vancouver finished 2-for-2 on the power play while Port Moody was 2-for-4.
The victory showcased the Pack’s depth and special-teams execution. Ryan Tse finished with two goals, Braydon Suderman had two goals (one on the power play), and Lucas Davidson recorded a goal and two assists in a five-point night for the forward group. The defense and Marcus Taylor made the saves when the game tightened, giving North Vancouver a hard-earned home victory to build on as the season continues.
The Wolf Pack are back in action on Friday vs. The Pilots at MSA Arena in Abbotsford and then home to face the Mission City Outlaws next Saturday night.
