Binette to serve as captain for second season

The Wolf Pack has announced that 2002-born forward Alex Binette will serve as team captain for a second season. While the rest of the leadership group is still to be named Alex Binette spoke highly about donning the ‘C’ for another season.

Binette, Whistler, BC, was named the team’s 12th Captain in franchise history prior to the start of last year’s regular season. Binette played the season with his heart on his sleeve and would finish fourth in team scoring with 17 goals and 26 assists for 43 points in 43 games. In his first PJHL playoffs, Binette managed two goals and an assist for three points in six games before losing to White Rock in the first round.

“I’m really looking forward to the year. It’s good to be looked upon as a leader. You want to lead the team, guide the young guys, and I’m going to do the best that I can.”
