Casellato Commits to University of Victoria For 25-26 season

The University of Victoria has announced North Vancouver Wolf Pack forward Andrew Casellato has committed to the team for the 2025-2026 BCIHL season!

So far this season in his return to the Wolf Pack, through 37 games played Casellato has amassed 24 goals and 51 assists and sits second on the team in points with 75. Setting new career highs in all categories. He was also named to the 2025 PJHL All-Star game representing the Tom Shaw Conference, where he would walk away from the game with 2 assists in 6-5 overtime win for the Tom Shaw Conference.

Casellato, 20, is in his final season of junior hockey eligibility. He kicked off his junior career in 2022-23 with the Wolf Pack, scoring 61 points in 42 games in his rookie campaign. In 2023-24 he would find himself playing in both the AJHL and SJHL for the Olds Grizzlys and Battlefords North Stars totalling 12 points in 37 games split between the two teams. An early season deal with the Melville Millionaires would find him back on the Wolf Pack 5 games into the season.

“I’m super excited to be heading to UVIC!” said Casellato. “It’s a great school in a beautiful area so I’m really looking forward to being in the city and around campus.” He then added “The hockey program there is really up and coming as well. It’s going to be awesome to play with J.J. Pickel again too, we got to play together my first year and had some success.” He finished by saying “I want to say thank you to my family, friend, teammates and coaches who have helped me along the way!”
