The Coastal Tsunami have defeated the North Vancouver Wolf Pack 2-1.
It was a tight contest the whole way through, as the teams would stay tied until 5:38 of the third when the Tsunami would pot the game winning goal. Lucas Davidson scored the lone goal for North Vancouver. As he is now up to 3 points through 2 games in his rookie season. Remy Quintoro would shine for North Vancouver stopping 42 of 44 shots.
As anticipated it was a physical game, between the two teams there was a total of 32 penalty minutes. The “battle of horse shoe bay” is intensifying game by game.
These teams will meet up again on Friday, December 13th at the Gibsons and Area Community Centre. As the Wolf Pack will make the trip to the Sunshine Coast for their first regular season game in Gibsons.
The Wolf Pack are back in action Saturday, September 14th at Harry Jerome Arena. As they take on the Delta Ice Hawks.
