Keys Dates for the 2021-22 Season

The 2021-2022 PJHL season is right around the corner the regular season schedule is now out. Gone are the cohorts as we are back to our regular scheduled programming of a 44 game season, with a little twist. Prior to this season there were 12 teams in the league and everybody would play everyone 4 times, but with the addition of a 13th team in the Chilliwack Jets, teams in different divisions will only meet twice (1 Home & 1 Away) while we see more matchups within the divisions. With that in mind lets take a look at some key dates for the Wolf Pack this season.

Sept 9th at Richmond

A season opening matchup for the ages. The rivalry between the Sockeyes and the Pack will be renewed once more to kick things off in what will be the first of 6 meetings this season.

Sept 11th vs Aldergrove

It’s a rematch of the 2020 PJHL finals that never happened! Should we put the trophy on the line? Probably not, we don’t mind being the defending champs for another season. None the less, it’s our home opener, still plenty on the line as the Pack look to continue their dominance on home ice as they have over the last few seasons.

Oct 23 vs Chilliwack Jets

It’s the first ever regular season game vs the Chilliwack Jets who will get their second chance at a inaugural season.

Dec 8 vs Delta

A sentimental game as it is our last one at Harry Jerome for quite some time as it undergoes a multi year renovation. We’ve had lots of great memories at the Jerome O’ Dome and we are looking to make a few more against a familiar foe in the Ice Hawks.

Dec 31 & Jan 2 PJHL Winter Classic

The PJHL Winter Classic returns to Minoru Arena in Richmond to close out 2021 and start 2022. The Pack will play a New Years Eve afternoon matinee versus the Mission City Outlaws, then the boys will play their first game of the new year in a morning matchup Jan 2 against the Langley Trappers.

Feb 12 vs Grandview

The Wolf Pack regular season will wrap at our new home (still TBD) against our not so good friends from down the highway in the Grandview Steelers.

Exhibition Games

The regular season may be around the corner but exhibition games are at the front door. The Wolf Pack will play 4 pre season games starting next week (Aug 27 & 28) with a home & home with the Ridge Meadows Flames. Then the Pack will have a final tune up in some inter league action as we head to island to take on our Cyclone Taylor Cup rivals the Campbell River Storm in a double header (Sept 3 & 4).
