Alex Binette was born and raised in Whistler, BC. The left-shot forward is in his second season with North Vancouver and second as team captain. Tonight marks the 75th regular season game in the PJHL for Binette. Born in 2002, Binette has managed 74 points (34G-40A) in 80 games.

 

DIFFERENT COLOURS

The Wolf Pack would like to thank the Abbotsford Pilots for wearing their home uniforms and allowing the Wolf Pack to wear their road blue uniforms. North Vancouver will be auctioning off these jerseys in an online auction this month with 10% of proceeds benefiting BC Children’s Hospital. The jerseys will be given to their respective winners at the end of the season.

 

IT’S ALMOST TIME

Tonight the North Vancouver Wolf Pack is working with Family Services of the North Shore to present Teddy Bear Toss night. The team is partnering with the North Shore Christmas Bureau which will take the plush donations and then gift them to families. They do their best to ensure that every child in our community has a smile on their face come Christmas Day.

 

NOTES

  • North Vancouver is wearing their road blue uniforms tonight. The team has a record of 8-7-0-1 in these colours. This is also the first Teddy Bear game that the Wolf Pack is wearing blue.
  • The Panthers defeated the Wolf Pack 5-4 last weekend and snapped North Van’s six-game winning streak.
  • The Pilots have been shut out four times this season. The team has not shut out any of their opponents.
  • The past two times that these teams have faced one another the losing team has scored three goals.
  • Wolf Pack forward JJ Pickell has been suspended 2 games for receiving a major penalty for boarding plus an additional game for receiving a game misconduct in the final 10 minutes. This took place last Sunday against Port Moody.

 

Final Words

This is the third time that these two clubs are facing off against one another this season. Tonight marks the final venture into North Vancouver for Abbotsford as the Pilots defeated the Wolf Pack 6-3 on September, 24. The wolves traveled to Abbotsford just over a month later earning a 5-3 win on October 28. After tonight, North Vancouver heads back to Abbotsford for the final time on Friday, January 13.
