The North Vancouver Wolf Pack has signed forwards Henry Lockhart, Xander Dibble, Cam Hacker, Rex Norman, Ryan McGowan and goaltender Wilfred Hogan for the 2026-2027 season.
Henry Lockhart is a 2009 6’0 165-Ib left winger who spent the past two seasons with the North Shore Warriors U17 of the CCSHL. In his sophomore season, Henry recorded eight goals and nine assists for 17 points in 33 games.
The winger plays well on both ends of the ice with a great defensive hockey IQ. “I’m a full 200ft player that has a good offensive presence but can also make good plays in the d-zone,” Henry Lockhart.
His dedication to improving his game on and off the ice will help him transition to a more physical junior hockey level. “Henry committed to our spring program early and has demonstrated a consistent work ethic. Henry sees the play well and is a strong communicator on and off the ice,” Assistant GM David Beaupré.
Xander Dibble is a 2008 5’9 150-Ib centre who played his past two seasons in the JPHL for Coquitlam HC. Last season, Xander transitioned from U17 to U18, where he put up seven goals and six assists for 13 points in 28 games. The centreman joined the Wolf Pack’s spring league twice, where he made a good impression and improved his game in a short period of time under the coaching staff.
“I have good hockey IQ, I’m a hard forechecker and a good two-way centre,” Xander Dibble. He uses his speed and skill on both ends of the ice, gathering loose pucks and turning them into scoring chances in the offensive zone.
“Xander works hard on the back track, always has an active stick and uses his speed and hands to create turnovers to generate offensive opportunities”, Assistant GM David Beaupré.
Cam Hacker is a 2007 6’0 175-Ib forward who joins the Wolf Pack after spending last season with the Milwaukee Jr Admirals U18 AAA. With the Admirals, Cam recorded five goals and nine assists for 14 points in 49 games. He plays a defensively sound game with a high level of physicality and strong offensive attributes.
“I am bringing a hard physical 200 ft. game with a good shot,” Cam Hacker. He has played for numerous AAA programs in the United States, varying from teams in Wisconsin to teams in Missouri. Although this is his first time playing hockey north of the border, he already is accustomed to the transition to a new team.
“Cam is a 200 ft player that plays the game the right way with a high hockey IQ and good hands. He brings a physical presence and will make an immediate impact in our top six,” GM Matt Samson.
Rex Norman is a 2010 6’5 190-Ib power forward from the North Shore Warriors program, where he spent his past two seasons. At the U15 AAA level, Rex recorded 17 goals and 22 assists for 39 points in 35 games, as well as 98 penalty minutes. In his sophomore year, he transitioned to U17 prep, where he notched three goals and an assist for four points alongside 95 penalty minutes in 25 games.
“I don’t think about my age; I just focus on doing the little things right like getting the pucks in the corners, being in open spots, picking up my guy and ripping the puck in the back of the net. I’m not trying to do any extra moves to look flashy,” Rex Norman.
Rex plays a heavy game with a physical edge, using his size to his advantage. The power forward is used to playing with older players and does not shy away from laying the body. His playing style aligns perfectly with the level of compete and physicality the Wolf Pack want to possess.
“As a 16-year-old, being around older players will help Rex in how he approaches the game and we believe he can have an impact in our lineup,” Head Coach & GM Matt Samson.
Ryan McGowan is a 2006 5’11 170-Ib versatile forward who spent last season with the Burnaby Steelers of the PJHL. Ryan brings a strong 200-foot game and is someone who can be relied upon in all situations. He plays a defensive-minded game, while still contributing in the offensive zone.
“Ryan brings a veteran presence to our room. We are excited to welcome Ryan to the Wolf Pack and look forward to him being a strong contributor to our success this season”, Head Coach and GM Matt Samson
Ryan’s veteran presence and work ethic make him a great fit on what is a young Wolf Pack team. He has international experience, playing in Thailand during the Queen’s Cup 2025. Playing in a different country taught him many lessons that he hopes to bring to the team.
“I think that experience has helped me mature both as a player and a person. Playing in different environments has taught me a lot, and I hope to bring that experience to the Wolf Pack. I want to be someone the younger guys can rely on, lead by example every day and do whatever I can to help build a winning culture,” Ryan McGowan.
Wilfred Hogan is a 2009 5’10 165-Ib goaltender who played last season with the Greater Vancouver Canadians of the BCEHL. Wilfred was the starting goaltender for the Canadians, where he played 20 games and put up a 3.88 GAA.
“I feel I am ready to take the next step and play junior hockey. My game will translate to junior hockey because of my willingness to put in the work and desire to compete and win at a high level,” Wilfred Hogan.
He is dedicated to improving his game and is eager to learn from the Wolf Pack coaching staff.
“Wilfred is an athletic, well-structured goaltender who is always prepared and focused. We are excited to help take his game to the next level,” Wolf Pack goalie coach Bo Didur.
The six new additions to the North Vancouver Wolf Pack each fill important roles on the team heading into the 2025-2026 season. Young forwards Rex Norman, Xander Dibble and Henry Lockhart all bring a solid 200-foot game and new energy to the team. Veterans Ryan McGowan and Cam Hacker bring vital experience playing for various teams and will be impactful to the Pack’s forward core. Goaltender Wilfred Hogan will be an important piece between the pipes, filling part of the role from graduating goaltender Gregory Sichitiu.
