WOLF PACK END 2022 WITH 2 POINTS

North Vancouver and White Rock met to conclude their Winter Classic games this morning. The game also marked the final regular season tilt between the two clubs. North Vancouver went on to edge the Whalers in a shootout and have now beaten White Rock in all four games against them.

1st Period:

NV – Tanner Terness (9) pounced on a loose puck to get the Wolf Pack on the board with 15:10 remaining in the first period. Pickell and Hunter drew assists on the power play marker.

WR –  with 6:27 on the board the Whalers took control of the puck after multiple failed clearing attempts by North Vancouver to tie the game at one. Kazuya Yamazaki scored his ninth goal of the year after his shot from the right side found its way in. Woodward and Fortems grabbed the assists.

2nd Period:

NV – Ryan Hunter (6) tipped in a point shot from Jonathan Soares at 19:35. Andrew Casellato earned the secondary assist on the power play marker.

3rd Period:

WR – Jacob Dorohoy (9) gave the Whalers a power play goal of their own after tapping the puck into an empty cage to tie the game at two. The goal was assisted by Chris Fortems and Cole Svendson at 10:23.
