Saturday night at the Harry Jerome Rec Centre in North Vancouver was the arena where Game 2 of this first-round series took place between the North Vancouver Wolf Pack (1-1) and the White Rock Whalers (1-1). The Whalers scored in the middle and final frames while the Wolf scored two goals in the first period and once in the third to earn a 3-2 victory.

1st Period:
NV – Ryan Hunter sprung a pass to the Italian Stallion, Sebastiano Biagi, who took the pass at center ice and skated into the zone before beating Keegan Maddocks short-side from the left faceoff dot. Ben Thornley-Hall also picked up an assist on Biagi’s at 5:07.
NV – Donovan Griffin was involved in a 2 on 1 offensive rush for the Wolf Pack and Ryan Hunter was the recipient of Griffin’s pass. Hunter fired the puck into the net for his first goal and second point of the night with 11:44 gone in the first period.

2nd Period:
WR – Jacob Dorohoy brought his team within a goal of tying the game with the Whalers’ first goal of the night at the 16:50 mark of the second period. Caleb Cruz and Zachary Sherwin snagged the assists.

3rd Period:
NV – Alex Binette, the Wolf Pack Captain, scored the final goal of the game for the Wolf Pack off of a beautiful do-it-yourself play that saw Binette cut past two Whalers defencemen before taking a backhand shot on goal. Ryan Hunter and Ben Thornley-Hall recorded assists at 14:50.
WR – Caleb Cruz’s shot from the slot snuck past the blocker of Damian Perovic and in to make it a 3-2 game with the Wolf Pack still leading. Zachary Sherwin and Cole Svendson picked up the assists.
