The North Vancouver Wolf Pack have traded goaltender Owen Bonthuis to the Kam River Fighting Walleye of the Superior International Junior Hockey League, in exchange for future considerations.
Bonthuis, 19, was acquired by the Wolf Pack at the beginning of the 2023-24 season from the Lake Cowichan Kraken of the Vancouver Island Junior Hockey league. In his lone season with the Wolf Pack, the Parksville, BC native would appear in 15 games, and post a record of 7-4-0, with a .910 SV% and 3.10 GAA. He would also appear in 1 game during the Wolf Pack’s 2024 playoff run.
The Wolf Pack would like to thank Owen for all his contributions on and off the ice. And wish him the best of luck moving forward!
