Bigelow inks with the Pack

North Vancouver, B.C. – The Wolf Pack have added to their defence core as the club has signed 2007-born defenceman Jared Bigelow ahead of the 2023-24 Pacific Junior Hockey League season.

The left-handed defenceman spent the past three seasons with the Burnaby Winter Club (BWC) Academy of the Canadian Sports School Hockey League (CSSHL). Listed at 6-foot-3 and 141 lbs., he is a big, strong player who skates exceptionally well. The Burnaby, BC, native has a good shot from the point and can get his shot on the net.

Bigelow put up two goals and six assists in 33 games last season with the BWC U16 prep team. He also had the opportunity to play in one game with the BWC U17 team.

“He should have no problem adjusting to the physicality of the PJHL. Jared reminded us a lot of Luke Bradley at camp, a steady player, makes the right plays, and is not afraid to jump in a rush,” said associate coach and general manager Matt Samson.

The team looks forward to welcoming Jared and his family to North Vancouver.

North Vancouver opens their 2023-24 season on Saturday, September 9, against the Richmond Sockeyes.
