Swampy traded to the Kenora Islanders (SIJHL)

The North Vancouver Wolf Pack has traded away another defenceman ahead of the 2023-2024 Pacific Junior Hockey League season.

The club has sent Braden Swampy (Opaskwayak Cree Nation, MB) to the Kenora Islanders of the Superior International Junior Hockey League.

Swampy scored a goal in his Wolf Pack debut on November 12 and would finish the regular season with 40 games and 18 points (5-13) under his belt. The right-shot defenceman picked up three assists in three post-season games against the Grandview Steelers.

Swampy will join the newly formed Kenora Islanders in Ontario. In return, the Wolf Pack will receive a player development fee.
