TRADE: Wolf Pack Trade Forward Jobey Pearson to Lake Cowichan

On Monday afternoon, General Manager Matt Samson announced that the North Vancouver Wolf Pack traded 2004-born forward Jobey Pearson (North Vancouver, BC) to the Lake Cowichan Kraken of the VIJHL for 01 Forward Donovan Bellmond-Griffin.

Bellmond-Griffin, a 6’3”, 210-pound right hand forward played his first three seasons of Junior hockey in the PJHL with the Ridge Meadows Flames and Port Moody Panthers before playing for the Lake Cowichan Kraken of the VIJHL.

“Bellmond-Griffin is a hard worker with skill and speed who plays physical and will bring that element to our lineup every night and be tough for opponents to play against. Watching video of him in Lake Cowichan this year we were very impressed with the pace he plays at, his tenaciousness and competitiveness. He is a perfect compliment to the players we have in our lineup up front.”

A message from Matt Samson about Jobey Pearson:

“Pearson is a talented young player with a lot of upside and was a tough one to give up in the deal and we wish him the best.”
