Tritt sliding into the Rivermen crease

The North Vancouver Wolf Pack is proud to announce that goaltender Charlie Tritt has signed with the Langley Rivermen to play in the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) for the 2023-24 season.

Tritt is a 2005-born goaltender from Burnaby, B.C., who finished the 2022-23 regular season with an 11-9 record, a 3.85 GAA, 0.893 SV%, and one shutout. He performed spectacularly in both Survivor Series games against the Grandview Steelers, aiding his team to a win and posting a 2.59 GAA and a 0.935 SV%.

“My time with the Wolf Pack allowed me to develop while getting accustomed to the junior hockey environment,” said Tritt. “The organization’s culture, along with the front office, coaching staff, and players, made it a very enjoyable experience and a great place to play.”

The 6-foot, 159 lbs. goaltender played the most games of any Wolf Pack goaltender last season. Tritt gave his team a chance to win each time he was in the net.

Tritt had the chance to play in four regular season and one playoff game with the Rivermen this past season. During the regular season, he was able to record a 2.58 GAA and 0.918 SV%. Tritt had a 1.24 GAA, and a 0.960 SV%, in his solo playoff performance with Langley.

“Charlie is a very passionate and good young goaltender,” said coach Mike Borrelli. “His work ethic is unmatched, and to see that out of such a young player is refreshing.”

The Wolf Pack wishes him all the best with the Rivermen this season.
