North Vancouver, B.C. – The Wolf Pack is proud to announce that forward Andrew Casellato is moving on from the Wolf Pack as he gets set to play with the Battleford North Stars.
Despite only playing one season in North Vancouver, Casellato made his time with the Wolf Pack count. The 6-foot-2, 187lb forward notched 18 goals and 43 assists for 61 points in 42 games. The Italian superstar tallied four goals and an assist in the Play-In series, Battle of Italy, against the Grandview Steelers.
“He is a tremendous teammate and a very talented player. He has put in a ton of work and deserves the opportunity to play at the next level. We want to wish Andrew all the best with Battlefords North Stars next season,” said Wolf Pack coach Mike Borrelli.
The Burnaby, BC product leaves the Wolf Pack after averaging 1.45 points per game and earning recognition for being one of seven players to put up 60 or more points in a single season. He was also named to the first-ever BCHC Top Prospects Game hosted in Chilliwack, featuring the best young stars from the KIJHL and PJHL.
“I would like to thank the North Vancouver Wolf Pack for a very fun and enjoyable year. It was great to get to know all the guys, the coaching staff, and the Wolf Pack Community,” expressed Casellato. “I would like to thank everyone in the organization, the coaches, the players, the management, and the fans, for making it a year I will never forget. I wish the best of luck to the players returning next year and hope they can bring home a championship!”
Andrew Casellato was a pleasure to have in the pack, and we wish him the best of luck with the next step in his hockey path!
